Maple Tree – Time to Shine

This maple tree is ready to start showing its fall beauty.  I love the colors at this time of the year.  This was taken in Radford on 10/21.

Coal Bank Ridge Subdivision

This house is located in the Blacksburg area of Virginia.  As I was driving through the subdivision, I noticed the fall colors along with the blue sky and decided to make an image.  It turned out pretty good.

It’s Foggy, Oh deer!

As I was leaving my house last Thursday, 10/22, I saw these two deer near the apple trees that they love to “hang out” at almost every day.  I could barely see them through the thick fog that morning.

New River Reflection

This is a photograph of the fall colors along the New River in Fairlawn, Virginia.  This was taken on 10/21, less than one week ago.  It’s amazing how so many of the leaves have already turned brown or dropped since this was taken.  Glad I was able to be there that day.

October Glory Maple in Autumn
