Country Home in the Summer

Here’s an image of a house located in Pulaski County, Virginia.  This house is located on a road that we had never been on before this time.  This was taken last July, after we were coming back home from visiting family.  We were about 30 minutes from our house when we came to a spot along the road that had just been closed due to a mudslide.  The officer there said that it would probably be closed for several hours.  We asked about another way around the block, and he gave us some rough directions.  We then set out for about an hour drive to get to where we were only about 10 minutes from at the mudslide.  The little detour was an adventure though, and we got the privilege of traveling a road that we would not ordinarily take.  We made the best of the extra driving, and were blessed with the scenery along the way.
