Radford Clouds Again

This is another image from Radford on February 24, 2012 taken about 10 minutes after the other 2 (yesterday and Friday) and from a slightly different location.  Mabye something other than clouds will appear on tomorrow’s post…maybe.

More Radford Clouds

Looks like the Clouds are moving in…at least into this blog.  I’ve seen so many great cloud formations lately, and I think I’ll post a couple more the next few days.  This one was also in Radford on February 24, 2012.  It was taken a little later than the one I posted on Friday.

Cloud emphasis week?  Maybe.

Huge Cloud in Dublin, Virginia

This enormous cloud stole the show on April 24, 2011.  I’m beginning to go back through some of the photos I took in 2011 and finding some beauties that I had forgotten all about.  I’m glad I was able to show you this one.  This scene was in Dublin, Virginia, near the New River Valley Airport.

Huge cloud…yep, it was.

Radford Clouds

As today’s sunset was dipping below the horizon, the wide variety of clouds were lit up like decorations hung in the sky.  I love clouds, and sunsets, especially when they’re together.

Sunsets, and clouds go together like…, well, I don’t know, what do you say they go together like?

Gazebo at Virginia Tech

This gazebo is located on the campus of Virginia Tech, next to the Duck Pond.  The President’s House is located just up the hill through the trees.  This image was captured on February 20, 2012.

Remembering back, my son used to call this a “gazoo” instead of a “gazebo” – we didn’t correct him since it was just so cute.  Contact me to help preserve your memories.

Virginia Tech – Solitude

This building is located on the campus of Virginia Tech, and is called Solitude.  Constructed in 1840, it’s located next to the upper duck pond, and provides a great reflection in the water.  Here’s a LINK to another site that has some history on the building, including some images taken during the restoration project in 2011.  This image was captured on February 20, 2012.

Candlelight Service

These 2 images are from the candlelight service at our church on December 18, 2011.  The first image shows Hannah holding her candle (and mine).  The second image shows some of the people (probably about 1/4 of the total) that were there in the fellowship hall.  I love this service each year.
