Dilapidated Barn

For all us barn lovers, here’s another.  I don’t know which I like better – pristine barns with lots of color or differently shaped, or old simple barns falling apart from age and neglect.  This barn is located in Christiansburg, Virginia, and the image was made on January 26, 2012.

Country Charm

This country farmhouse is such a charming place in my eyes.  I’d love to know more about the history of this house in general, and also more about the surrounding community of Burkes Garden.  Taken on December 28, 2011.

Blue Sky Barn

This barn sits atop a small hill with a mountain partially covered with snow and a clear blue sky above it.  Such a pretty site.  This is yet another scene from the community of Burkes Garden in Tazewell County, Virginia.  This was taken on our mini-excursion to there on December 28, 2011.
