This was the scene about 90 minutes before Virginia Tech’s game against Georgia Tech on February 9, 2015. This is a great view of the inside of Cassell Coliseum. It’s fun to get to a game early and see how different angles of the seats provide interesting views. This game was a good one to be at also. Georgia Tech was up by 10 points with under 5 minutes to go, but Virginia Tech kept chipping away at the margin and took the lead with 15 seconds left to play, going on to win by the score of 65-63.

This is an unusual view of Torgersen Hall on the campus of Virginia Tech. The square-tiled foreground is part of the War Memorial, and a rain shower brought out a different look. This was taken on December 30, 2014.

Virginia Tech recently installed a sign at the edge of the campus, at the corner of Washington Street and Kent Street. Here are a couple of images of the sign as taken in light snow on December 30, 2014. In the bottom image, Miles Hall can be seen in the background.
