Flashback Friday – Philippines 2005 – #6

Here’s the last of the Philippines series on Flashback Friday for awhile (unless I change my mind in the next few days).  If I had to choose a favorite of all the photos that I took while on this trip, I would lean toward this one.  I can’t quite describe why I would choose this one.  I guess it’s got to be the eyes.  What’s your opinion?

Flashback Friday – Philippines 2005 – #5

Here’s another Flashback Friday post in the series for my trip to the Philippines back in July of 2005.  This is one of the favorites of my favorites 🙂 and I call it “friends”.  I’ve included a b/w version also.  Check back next Friday for the final one for a while.  Hope you have a great weekend.

I can remember taking this shot.  The two girls were quite a distance away, and I zoomed quickly to get as good a shot as I could.  There was little time to get another since just past where they’re at the pathway bends a little and I wouldn’t have been able to see them.

Another Friday is here, and it’s time for a new Flashback Friday post.  This post is a continuation of the series looking back to my 2005 trip to the Philippines.  I was in the Philippines and traveling with a group of from our church.  There were 12 of us in the group.  This image shows one of the dogs there in the village where we stayed.  That’s a nice pose.  See you next Friday for another one.  Have a great weekend.

Flashback Friday – Philippines 2005 – #3

Continuing in the series for the next few Flashback Fridays, this is another photograph from my 2005 visit to the Philippines.  This photograph was taken in July while I was on the island of Mindanao.  I was traveling with a group from our church.  This image shows the kind of vegetation in the area where we were.  This is considered a rain forest, and I can attest to the amount of rain that we received while we were there for 10 days.  This was taken just after a quick rainstorm passed over.  Check back next Friday for another one, and have a great weekend.

Flashback Friday – Philippines 2005 – #2

For the next few Flashback Fridays, I intend to post some of the photos from my visit to the Philippines in July of 2005.  The photographs were taken while I was on the island of Mindanao, which is one of the southern islands.  I was traveling with a group from our church.  Each image has a way of triggering a new memory for me, and the number of stories from the trip are countless (for me anyway).  As I said back in this post, it was an adventure of a lifetime.  Make sure to check back each of the next several Fridays, and please leave a comment if you enjoy the series.  Have a great holiday weekend!
